Not every text needs an actual reply. Double-tap a message. A heart instantly lands. Regret it? Just double-tap again and it vanishes. You change your mind, you take it back. Simple as that. Need a different vibe? Long-press to bring up a quick panel of reactions. And if those don’t cut it, just hit the +icon. Boom - the full emoji library is right there. A shrug, a skull, a quiet “I see you.” Let the reaction do the heavy lifting. Because let’s be honest, not every feeling needs a whole sentence built around it.

Conversation Flow

Real conversations are messy. People circle back. They suddenly bring up a point from three screens ago. The new Reply feature - just swipe left, or long-press - pins your response directly to the exact text it answers. So nobody gets lost when a thread speeds up. Speed is fun, sure. But actually understanding what’s being discussed? Way more important.

Copying Text

Sometimes you just need to grab a thought and take it somewhere else. We added a clean way to do it. Long-press any message, hit Copy, and it’s instantly on your clipboard. Done.

The updated message gets a tiny ‘Edited’ label next to it. It isn’t a red flag. Just a quiet note. Conversations evolve naturally. Your sent messages should be allowed to keep up.

Absolute Control

Delete actually means delete now. Whenever you want. For whatever reason. You owe zero explanations to anyone. The text vanishes, leaving behind a plain ‘The message was deleted’ placeholder. That’s what actual control looks like - ripping something back the very second it stops feeling right. And a quick reminder. Everything still burns after 24 hours by default. You don’t manage it. You don’t set timers. These new chat tools just sit on top of that baseline - they don’t overwrite it.

No. We call it a clean slate policy for a reason. You delete a message, it’s dead. Not archived in some hidden folder. Not tucked away. Gone.

Can I edit something if the other person already read it?

Yep. The text updates on both phones. And it shows as edited, so nobody is sitting there guessing if they just misread something.

Do reactions vanish with the 24-hour rule too?

They do. Reactions are tied directly to the chat thread. So when the clock runs out on the message, the reaction goes right out the door with it.
