Welcome to YourSecret! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our anonymous social platform ("Service"). By using YourSecret, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

1. General Terms

YourSecret.org and YourSecret.app are operated by Farnora Limited (Ireland), registered in the Republic of Ireland. These Terms apply to all users of the Service.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the platform.

YourSecret promotes anonymous interactions. Users are encouraged not to share personally identifiable information publicly.

2. Account Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use YourSecret. If you are under the age of 18, you confirm that you have parental or legal guardian consent (in accordance with COPPA).

You agree to provide accurate information when registering (if required) and to keep it up to date.

3. Updates to the Terms

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect legal or operational changes. Material updates will be announced in the app or via email. Continued use of the platform after such changes means you accept the updated Terms.

🚫 User Responsibilities & Prohibited Conduct

By using YourSecret, you agree to:

  • Use the platform only for lawful, non-commercial, and respectful purposes
  • Follow our Community Guidelines at all times
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account (if applicable)
🔒 You Must Not:
  • Violate any law or regulation (local, state, federal, or international)
  • Post or share content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or invasive of others' privacy
  • Use the platform to harass, impersonate, threaten, or exploit others
  • Publish or distribute:
    • Pornographic, violent, or hateful content
    • Content involving minors inappropriately
    • Malicious AI-generated or deepfake content
    • Spam, phishing, or scam materials
  • Attempt to:
    • Hack, disrupt, or damage the platform
    • Circumvent bans or enforcement mechanisms
    • De-anonymize other users or misuse anonymous systems

📢 Reporting Violations

We encourage users to report any violations of these Terms or our Community Guidelines using the in-app reporting tools or by contacting us directly at support@yoursecret.org.

YourSecret reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms without notice.

🖋 Content Ownership & Platform Moderation

3.1. User-Generated Content (UGC)
You retain ownership of any content you post to YourSecret. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, host, store, and moderate your content solely for operating and improving the platform. This license ends when your content is deleted from our systems.

3.2. Moderation Rights
YourSecret reserves the right to review, remove, restrict, or block any content that violates these Terms of Use, our Community Guidelines, applicable laws, or third-party rights. Content may be removed proactively or in response to user reports or legal complaints.

3.3. No Obligation to Monitor
We are not obligated to monitor all user activity or content. However, we may monitor, preserve, and disclose content if required by law or in good faith to:

  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Respond to lawful requests from authorities
  • Protect the rights, safety, and integrity of the platform and its users

3.4. Section 230 Disclaimer (U.S. Law)
In accordance with Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, YourSecret is not liable for user-generated content. We act as a neutral intermediary and do not assume responsibility for verifying the accuracy or legality of user posts.

⚖️ 4. Disclaimers, Limitations of Liability & Legal Terms

4.1. Disclaimer of Warranties
YourSecret is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your expectations. Use of the platform is at your own risk.

4.2. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Farnora Limited (Ireland) and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed $100 USD or the amount paid by you (if any) in the past 12 months.

4.3. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless YourSecret and its team from any claims arising from your violation of these Terms or infringement of third-party rights.

4.4. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of Irish courts or through arbitration in Dublin, Ireland. You waive the right to participate in class actions or jury trials.

4.5. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms or applicable law.
